We have three special weekend programs every year, usually starting on Friday night and running through Saturday evening/Sunday morning. The topics vary widely and all highlight the vibrancy and relevance of Judaism in our modern world:
- Dr. Julius and Ethel Mintz Shabbaton Scholar-in-Residence
Dr. Leora Batnitzky, Ronald O. Perelman Professor of Jewish Studies. Professor of Religion. Chair, Department of Religion, Princeton University
Nov. 17 – 18, 2017
- Sandor & Suzanne Gross Memorial Cantorial Shabbaton – With the generous support of the Gross and Harrison families, we bring well-known cantors to the Temple for a weekend celebration of cantorial and Jewish music.
- Congregation Anshe Emeth Legacy Shabbat – Made possible by a special fund established to honor the name, history, and members of Congregation Anshe Emeth, this springtime weekend program brings a variety of Jewish educational programs to the Temple.
We will post the topics and dates when the schedule is finalized.
